There are many threads that are not ready for us to analyze logs (not following prework), some do not even post logs, some have posted on multiple forums (and do not reply here if they get help elsewhere).

Then that's where we need to focus our thinking please ppl.

We have a Fixed HJT Logs forum to move resolved threads to and I've noticed that this doesn't happen very often. I think that if it were then the amount of threads in the regular HJT forum would be lessened and full of ones that need looking over. Basically, if it were in the HJT Logs forum then the security staff would know that it needs further attention, once all is solved, move it to the Fixed forum. I imagine that is how it was originally intended to be and somewhere along the way it stopped working like that, so how about we pick that up again. I for one would be more than happy to start moving finished HJT threads over to the Fixed forum so the HJT Logs forum can remain neat & tidy.

An addition to D_'s comment--
I am currently working on a possible "sticky" thread for trying to recruit those from PCHF who would be interested in attending Malware Removal University...it is highly regarded and completely free.
It is also VERY DEMANDING. It is a tough course-- with strict rules.
I have also PM'ed the site Owner at MRU in regards to this effort-- thoudh he has not responded yet.

I was once a student there-- and as soon as my personal life allows me the time I intend to return. I just cannot do it right now.
I think we all realize that the security-team is overworked-- and want to help.

I moved all the old threads up to about 4 weeks ago with no redirect and after that I moved ones that were confirmed resolved with a redirect set to expire in 1 month.
Hengis, perhaps you could make a [Pending] HiJackThis Logs forum because one thing I noticed is there are a lot of threads were the original poster never comes back so it just sits there. Perhaps after two weeks of inactivity posts in the HJT forum that aren't resolved could be moved there (granted they have a reply by the Security staff) with a 1 month redirect in the main HJT forum.
At the head of this forum could be a sticky like this:

This forum is for security threads that have seen inactivity for a period of atleast two weeks after being reviewed. If your post is in here and you'd like to resume it please start a new one in the "HiJackThis Logs" forum with the address of your thread in this forum and they will be merged.

I would be glad to help keep track of this and I'm sure that the other mods would as well
