Hi Artlayton. It's not really a selection as such. It's hard to look at software from a web site, and say.. that looks good without actually using it. We recommend software based on all criteria starting with experience in actually using the software. It doesn't not necessarily mean it is the best around.

AVG as an example, is free. Easy to install. AVG finds more viruses compared some of the leading paid anti-virus software. I've personally never experienced any problems using AVG, and nobody has ever come to me and say.. I'm having problems with it.

FYI... I've used Trend Micro...Norton...McAfee..and AVG. AVG is the best in my opinion. And, AVG is FREE. Plus, you doesn't have to disengage it in order to install some software. Also, it is not so complicated that it won't work with Vista.

I personally find Avast better then AVG.

Updates are more frequent, and it works in Vista x64.

It is also free, and it's nicer looking
