i hoped to get help from your site but found it really hard to navigate and the one reply i got so far is pretty rude, unhelpful and techno-smart arse. won't be coming back.

If you care to read my reply to the thread you would see it wasn't a smart arsed reply, we need info to be able to tell what the problem is.

Prehaps I speak for myself here but judging by your attitude and personal attacks on people trying to help you, you won't be missed.

I think that the non-member that offered to help you was absolutely RIGHT to ask what he did;
Request additional information.

1. Are you using Windows XP Basic or Pro?

2. Please provide the URL for the "Tech Tip".

3. Which Tip are you referring to? What is it's title?

4. Is it the Printing Wizard whose tabs are unintelligable?
Where did this Print Wizard come from? Did it come with the printer?

5. If you can't read the Tabs, when you click on the tabs, can you read the information in the folder?

6. You refer to a foreign language. Please be more specific. What does it say.
If you can type it, please do.

The more information you provide the better the chance someone will be able to assist you.

Hi Janet

You say you find the site really hard to navigate. This forum runs on the same software as many other sites, so you may have the same problem if you visited another site.

Did you read the New User Guide for help? http://www.pchelpforum.com/New_User_Posting_Guide.htm

If you have not read it i suggest you read it

Also as Hengis said, the help provided was FREE, if you were to phone up a call centre and receive the same quality help you could end up with a large phone bill. Please appreciate the time spent by individuals in their spare time solely to help people and enjoy the forum. After all it is what keeps the site ticking - the members.
