Great work, guys...

I had been trying to use the Microsoft Newsgroup to solve my computer dilemmas. One of their MSFT told me that my postings were not getting any replies, because no one know the answers.

I have been in the computer/network business for forty years. I used to help computer users back when they were called bulletin boards and there were not such things as help desks.

While I have been a member of this website for only a few of days, I can say that you've earned my business and my respect. When your men (persons ) don't know the answer, they go looking for it. What a novel concept. Don't tell MS. When I was first getting started, I was told that, unlike school, I didn't have to know all the answers. But, I did have to know where to find them. Well, you have made that much easier for me now. I just come here. Cheers...

Yeah, I suppose that's the difference, this isn't an ocupation [the forum, though some may well work in tech] it's a hobby and people enjoy learning new things.
