Great site - great advice ... and I am desperate!
I cannot post my thread - I received activation links, have also tried with a second user name (grayman and grayman2) -- had to give second email -
User name 1 comes automaticaly on the screen as 'welcome, grayman' on opening a fresh browser page - but 'you do not have permission...' on trying to post...
Login accepts 'grayman2' - but the same story...
Reattempting manual authentication (as per email) gets message that i am already registered..

Pleeeeease - any way in?

Thanks!! - post done - and corrected..
(Incidently I see how the errant 'smiley' got there - I typed a "(2 x 128)" and I imagine the "8)" came as 8) - and got a face and some glasses...)

If you want to clear off the second user (grayman2) and its email - fine. But if that risks upsetting grayman - fahgedabahdit!
Question re emails - Am I right that email address remains hidden but emails are sendable to subsribers via the login pages (ie. address remains unkown to sender unless the receiver replies direct to sender?)

I get a LOT of spam - the address I am using for the forum is one that gets spam... I try to protect my more personal ones, but I could lose a mail sometimes in the spammable one...
Just like to know

Oh dear - well that proves it - I thought the use of " " would prevent a smiley...
so, how do you ever write an '8' followed by a ')' without getting the combination so that (1+2+8 ) (space added) does not become (128) with a face...??

Also, your email address will remain private until you reply to any email you may receive from members of PCHF. You can also turn off emails from other members within your "My PCHF" control panel.
