2 minute silence: In rememberance of the London Bombings
I know it was at 12:00pm GMT but... I stopped and sat the silence. My thoughts are with those people, who not only put theirselves at risk to save others but the police/emergency services and the families.
Re: 2 minute silence: In rememberance of the London Bombings
The London Bombings are very similar to the WTC over here in the US, except the bombs were airplaines. We lost many brave men and women that day who put their life on the line to save the lives of those trapped in the building.
Re: 2 minute silence: In rememberance of the London Bombings
I remember the day - I was in the school office, listening to the radio and on the news there were stories of a tube train exploding. Everyone thought it was a power surge. Then a bomb went off. And another. And another.
That's my memories of that day.
