I know most of you here don't use software type firewalls, but for those who do or anyone who knows I have some questions regarding my ZA Free Firewall & it's updates.

I have it set to auto-update & I also check for updates manually via the "Update Now" feature. It always says I'm up to date, which I guess is based off the auto-update channel. However, as of last night I just checked & I'm pretty sure there is a new version of ZA Free Firewall, that has yet to be released on the auto-update channel. I'm assuming this because the latest download says 102_074, while my current version is...

    ZoneAlarm Free Firewall version: 10.2.064.000
    Vsmon version: 10.2.064.000
    Driver version: 10.0.217.000
    Web Identity Protections version: 1.5.388.0

Now before I get to the actual question(s) there are a few things I already know. As for known bugs for my current version there's the fact that it doesn't recognize the current version of Java & that it thinks it needs to update its AV definitions even when you haven't downloaded the AV part, just the Firewall. Aside from these though, are there any serious security related bug fixes that the new latest version offers that I should get ASAP? If there is then why hasn't it been released on the auto-update channel yet? Does my current version only become less secure once they end support for it?
