There's no way of undoing what was done? I guess I could reload everything from scatch, I mean I am getting my updates now. It's just that I started out here maybe 2 years or so ago. I mean all my adjustments and programs. If there's no other way, I could go that route. I really do thank all you guys for the help, we tried.

    Hi gargoyle,

I'd hate for you to have to do that. Let me ask the Tech Team if they have any miracle cure before giving you a definitive answer :)

    Hi gargoyle,

Do you currently have all your documents and such? A repair install just replaces system files and leaves your data intact.

Crush, Thank you for all your help. I ended up doing a total restore, format and all. I figured I was already back to basic's, that why not, I went and did the format. My system's faster and I'm getting my updates. I had to reinstall everything from various back up's, i almost got everything back to normal (what ever normal is?!) But, I really want to thank all you guy's, again.:mrgreen:

    Hi Gargoyle,

That is great. I'm glad everything is solved, even though you had to format. That is never fun :(
