Right, I can boot into an install CD for win xp, hiren's and Acronis and windows 7, but the system will not recognize Ubuntu or any Linux distro for that matter. I have tried installing useing USB (using unetbootini), I have burnt them to disk (iso), I have downloaded the files multiple times to ensure the images aren't corrupted and the chksum matches.

Any Ideas at all as this is doing my &$£*%£& head in.

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: unetbootin error is "Invalid or corrupt kernel image."
