    Do you guys think I will be able to try Windows 8 with this specs:
    Emachines M5312
    1.8ghz processor
    512 or 768of ram
    320gb hdd
    running on windows xp.

    There's certainly nothing stopping you from trying, but I can just about guarantee it won't run well

    Ubuntu runs good on old machines. I've run it on an old Pent 3 with 512m ram. Good OS.
