Hey guys, it's Kolby here. I seem to not be able to run cs1.6, it begins right after the loading screen and bam the whole thing freezes. I've try compability mode, running steam on admin, re-installing but nothing worked. It used to work in my 32-bit windows vista but now it doesn't work in my home-premium 64-bit dell xps15 laptop.

My specs:
8GB RAM
DirectX 11
Intel Core i7-2640M CPU @ 2.8 GHZ
NVIDIA GT 525M

I've helped someone with something like this before.. Hopefully it will solve your problem.

You can force the program to run in 32bit by adding this code to the launch opitions

Code:

-32bit

Right click Counterstrike 1.6 in steam > Properties> Set Launch Options > '-32bit'

Give it a try and see what happens.

Right click on the shortcut, choose properties, compability, mark the Run this program in compability mode choose Windows XP SP2 hope this work .
