hi, have a pc running win 7 home premium 32 bits getting bsod right after desktop is loaded. i'm able to load into safe mode without any issues.

i ran bluescreenview.exe and found 2 files in the stack which are the ntfs.sys and ntkrnlpa.exe. the bsod in windows only listed the ntfs.sys as the culprit though.

i'll attach the minidump for your reference. please help me to fix the problem. tia.

    Hi TK55,

From Safe Mode, if you remove Online Armour, this will resolve your problems.

To stop this problem happening in future, please make sure that you remove your existing security software (such as Sunbelt), before installing anything new. You can only run one Anti-Spyware, one Anti-Virus and one Firewall at any one time.

hi madmonkey, you're unbelievably clever. i wished i have your skill :)

i started up the pc in safe mode and uninstalled a security software called bigpond security and it fixed the problem. obviously it uses online armour (and sunbelt antimalware ?) as part of it's security software package. bigpond is an internet service provider in australia where they also supply their own security package to it's customers.

i've installed avast av in place of the bigpond security. and the system is running fine now.

thank you very much for your help. you have a good day. i'm sure i'll be hanging around here a fair bit from now on :)
