I want to make a small partition (~10GB) on my harddrive for linux, but before i do that i need some help. I have the Ubuntu x64 version on Live CD, and i tried it out. i just want it for messing with. But it doenst recognize my wireless card (Netgear WG111T) and the installation tutorial says to use a program called ndiswrapper-util to run the installation of the drivers from the Windows Drivers disk. The problem is there are only 2 version, i386 and AMD64. will the AMD64 version work with Intel 64bit? I know there is some difference between the two, so im not sure if it will work, and im pretty sure the x86 version wont work. Any ideas?

I don't see why it would matter much whether the driver is 32bit or 64bit though

ok i had to fall back to 32 due to lack of 64bit drivers for my adaptor. I will use Ndiswrapper to install the drivers from the CD.

Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04 32bit. I wanted to run x64 but the drivers issue made it even more impossible, so ill live with 32bit
