I have one thread for sure that I know i'm watching, it was set to "watch" after I posted, although I unset it and reset it, both with and without email notification as the option, and it didn't appear in my "Watched Threads" link with any update that i've made. I don't like using the "My Content" link to find where i've posted, i'd rather only see threads that i've posted in, which is why i'm posting this issue right now, because I believe that would have been the best way for me to keep track of threads i've posted in, and threads which contain posts by me, that have new posts which i've not yet read as well. EDIT: Can anybody else confirm this bug/issue/problem as well? The Alerts must work for threads too, but it's been a while, I cannot remember. The fact that the "Watched Threads" feature isn't working though for me is still worth mentioning regardless though. Not sure if it's gone unnoticed or it has been noticed and it's being worked on, or disregarded however.
Ace, Selecting Watched Threads provides this If you select either the "There may be more to view" link as shown above or "Show all watched threads" at the lower left of the Watched Threads screen, does that bring up the Watched thread(s) you expect? Alerts will show Watched threads with recent unread content. I have found that I do have several "Watched Threads" that I'm behind on reading new content, so new posts in those threads will NOT appear in my Alerts. As long as I'm "current" my Alerts and Unread Watched threads *should be* the same. I'm not certain that I understand your comment about the "Your Content" feature. Your Content does show only threads in which you have posted, while Watched Threads contains not only threads in which you have posted, but could also contain threads that you have selected to "Watch". Perhaps I misunderstand?
Yes, that link works, it's a bit faint to be noticed though. For me, it was showing updates for posts i've made on profiles, not only forum threads. The link you've pointed out to me though has solved my issue though. I'm not used to XenForo.
You are 100% correct - the Your Content option does show Profile posts as well. I had overlooked that. Please don't hesitate to shout if there is anything else I might assist with. xF does take a bit of getting used to, but... IMHO, It's a HUGE improvement over the old vB format I'll get this marked as SOLVED for you unless you have further questions.
