I'm planning to change my video card to a card that has two DVI or 1 DVI and 1 VGA port.
I'm planning to setup this computer for multi monitors.

    Questions:
What are the video cards that is supported or can "fit" in my machine?
-Preferably, video cards that support multi monitor.
-Much higher specs than AMD Radeon HD 6450

I have an Acer Aspire X1900
Video Card AMD Radeon HD 6450
    Processor: Intel Pentium E6800
    2GB DDR3

Or you could click here for the specs: http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/desktop/2010/acer/aspire/AspireX1900/AspireX190

    I have two LCD Monitors:
    1 with DVI
1 with VGA (But I have this VGA/DVI Adapter)

Any and all PCI Express x16 cards will work in your machine

    IF

the power supply is of sufficient wattage and has the appropriate power plug for the video card.

And your current power supply is whack. You need a new one to support any video card that will be worthwhile upgrading to.

Yeah. I figured. So is there any other way to setup my computer for Multi-Monitors? I think I'm losing hope here.
Just wasted money on buying a new monitor.

I do not understand - your AMD Radeon HD 6450 does not already have two video ports?

Well the VGA port was somehow removed due to the "small" space of my "awesome" CPU.
A technician said it was a "low performance" type of video card.

*Sigh* If only I have understand these stuffs much sooner.
I should have made my own computer.

Tell me good sir, is it possible to reinsert that VGA port?

It is a fairly low end card.

I think your case is a small form factor case - so you will need to run the VGA port through a different expansion slot in the back of the PC.

The cable will attach in the same place, but the VGA port will screw into a slot cover with a VGA hole in it. In the Washington DC area, this is about $5 (or less) in parts.

You can use a low profile serial port bracket if you cannot find one designated for VGA. You can also just dangle the cable through an open slot (use a tie wrap to anchor it).

Thank you soooo much! That will VERY much do!!!

Since I usually open my desktop case, it's no problem for me to let it dangle. LOL

Now I can finally, sleep with ease.

I just hope that I can make both monitors to work with inserting the VGA.

Again, thank you so much. Problem Solved.
