Hello again.



Thanks to all those who have responded so helpfully to my previous queries.

This time, though, I really do seem to have a problem. I thought I was downloading a video clip and in my "tired and
emotional" state failed to notice the .exe on the end of the filename. I wasn't even saving it, merely opening the thing,
however,it seems to have installed itself on my computer. It only shows up when I go to control panel/uninstall programmes. It is called YourFileDownload.

When I click on uninstall it takes me to their website (http://yourfiledownloader.com) and there doesn't seem to be any uninstall function there. I attempted to contact them for advice but got one of those ridiculous "security codes" that simply does not work (it keeps saying security code invalid).

It doesn't seem to be doing any harm, however, I resent having something on my PC that I don't want and cannot get rid of.

Any advice (apart from be more careful in future)?

Thanks for your help. I was looking in the wrong programs folder but now I have deleted it. This thread can be marked as solved thanks.
