Hi everyone. I have a GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS card, and I'm ahaving a lot of issues with it. But, the only time I have problems with it is when I run any games at all (especially World of Warcraft). It runs the game like **** and lags way too much.

But here's where the unknown part comes in to play for me: I have two PC's. The other PC (not the one currently in question) has the SAME EXACT graphics card, and yet it can run World of Warcraft almost flawlessly. Near-maxed graphic settings. Yet, the PC I'm on now can barely even run the game, graphically speaking.

So, I was wondering, am I missing something here? I've tried updating the drivers, but to no avail. So I was hoping maybe someone out there might have at least an inkling of either what might be going on, or what I can do about it. That is, other than buying a new card. Money is tight, and buying a new one isn't quite an option right now.

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. But, if my only solution is buying a new card, then just tell me and I'll learn to live with it.

Thanks guys, for your future responses.

    Mokuu

    Hello & Welcome, Mokuu_Jenkins :)

Any chance you could provide system specs of both machines? Noting of course, which PC is which ;)

    Mokuu_J,

How much "free" disk space do you have on the C drive of the PC with troubles?

About 100 GB. The only thing on it, really, is WoW and an antivirus. That's about it.

    Mokuu,

One of the easiest tests you might try is to swap the cards between the PCs. See if the "failing" system performs differently with the other card. Perhaps the "failing" system has a video card going bad....

I've already tried that once before. Got the exact same results from each PC as normal. Maybe the bad PC is just doomed... Or haunted. -sigh-

The troubled machine was still troubled with the other card, huh? Have you ever had things run correctly or have they been a problem on that PC since day 1?

You don't note PSU sizes on either system. Do you have a large enough PSU on the troubled system?
