Out of the blue I am suddenly unable to access a particular website - www.arsenal.com - this began yesterday & continues today. I can access it through WiFi, through the same modem/router, on my phone but not on my PC. I cannot access any page on the Arsenal website. Arsenal.com/home has been my Home page for several years.

If it was just business, family, facebook or something like that it would just be an inconvenience but not being able to access the best Football club in thw world is a disaster of catatonic proportions :helpmeme:

Being a Gooner myself, I feel your pain.

Have you tried another browser, just to see if it's a problem with your current one?
Also, clear out all your cache and cookies with Ccleaner Free and see if you can ping www.arsenal.com from the command prompt.

Open the command prompt (Start > Accessories) then type in:
    Code:
    ping www.arsenal.com
..and press enter. Post back the results.

Open up CMD and type, "ping www.arsenal.com" (without quotation marks) if you get a timed out response then something is wrong.

There are also other pages I can't access - for example I can access the Suffolk Library & can access several pages but when I click 'Log In' link & one or two other links nothing happens. I've also noticed that even when I am successfully on a page - like now on PCHF - the green circle, top left, that normally turns round as it is searching for a page continues to turn all the time. Does that indicate anything?

    I can't access speedtest.net!
Usually download speed is around 5 - 7.
At the moment I can access most web pages via WiFi quite quickly on my phone.
This PC is connected to the same router but by ethernet cable rather than WiFi.

Incidentally even while I am connected to PCHF the tab still has the green circle turning & the words "Unable to access a website| PC Help Forum"!

Unfortunately I have to go out now but will be returning around 3:00pm (UK)

Download and run this (as Administrator): Network Test - then attach the resulting log.

    Hi Hengis.
I've just got back, logged in & find that I can access all websites as usual!!! I've done nothing (that I'm aware of)
I can only conclude that Bill Gates, Michael Dell or Mr. Mozilla are Spuds - after all Lord Amstrad is....

thanks for your help anyway - if it happens again I'll run the Network Test & post the result.
