What should I do to instal this to my 1156 motherboard? I think its same as Thermalrigh Ultra 120 Xtreme witch is 775/AM2 compatibile,is there any kit that could make it 1155 compatibile? I dont think a kit like that exist for specialy for True Copper, maybe for Ultra 120 Xtreme but the problem is that True cooper weigts 1900gram compared to Ultra Xtremes 790grams,thats around 240% weight compared to standart edition.

Another question is where should I get brackets/retention clips and shock absorbing strips for two aditional fans?

Last question is if its possible to instal two TY 140 fans to it,they should be compatibile with 120mm fan slots but I dont know if it work this way even for cooler retention clips.

I have never cared what the insides looked at as long as it functions. Though a big block of copper would be nice :)

Not sure about the retention bracket...

For the fan holder you want one of these (though this is for 120mm fans):
Thermalright 120x25mm Fan Holder at Xoxide!

For the TY 140 you would have to make something...

its that the one you get when you buy Ultra 120 Xtreme? these mofos from thermalright didnt included the fan brackets with limited cooper edition,

Can I make homemade bracket for TY 140 that would be just as good like if it was from factory? I am talking about these shock absorbers and generaly avoiding vibrations

I can come up with a couple ideas that might work, I dont have any 140mm fans so can test it out myself. The methods and materials I use are a little limiting for the average person.

I have seen a cpu fan held on with twisty ties so no need to make it more complicated then it needs.

What materials do you have on hand?

I was thinking about buying cooper and making vertical support for the heatsink, what material should I use for the fan bracket? Maybe I can just take some slim steel something and then bend it into form of fan holder

Steel or iron rod .02in OD would work (about the size of a piece of lead).

How where you thinking of attaching the vertical support to the heatsink? You will be creating a ground line by doing this, might consider isolating one side.

since my case is classic midi case,I was thinking about putting some cooper stick into case, one side would be on bottom level of case,in space between motherboard and side of the case and other would reach bottom end of heatsink,it would be removable so I can take out motherboard if I needed.

0.2 inch steel rod... that was what I had in mind, just didnt know how its called. Can I buy somwhere these shock absorber stickers alone?
