Programmes won't start up once the computers loaded, antivira should load aswell as messenger but that doesn't work.

iTunes won't load either. I can get on Firefox for a matter of minutes before it freezes then says something about flash player then it just stops for good!! Sometimes everything disappears including toolbar and all icons!
This leads to switching the Pc off at the plug as it won't even shut down!!!

    Help me please

    hi mbhoy,
Let's start with a little more information.
Can you post your system specs as this will help those offering assistance to better diagnose the problem.
Next, can you boot into safe mode? if you can follow the Prework link in my signature line and post the resulting logs back here in this thread. We can then ask the security team to check them for malware. Is that proves to be clear they will pass you back to the tech support team.

    Thankyou for your patience.

Can you tell us the make and model of your machine? Desktop Laptop? Also if it is a dell can you please post your service tag in your next reply. http://support.dell.com/support/top...yyoursystem?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&~mode=popup

Are you able to run your machine in safemode at all?
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/ss/safemodexp.htm

If you are able to boot into safemode and everything is working fine then please complete the prework in safemode with networking.
    http://www.pchelpforum.com/xf/threads/prework-please-read-before-posting.131846/

Also if you have never given your computer a good cleaning and you are unable to do anything in safemode then please do the following.IF THIS IS A DESKTOP Unplug the tower open up the side.Get can of compressed air and blow out the machine and reseat the ram modules video card etc,see video Plug it back in and see how it goes.WHILE YOU HAVE THE RAM AND VIDEO CARD OUT BLOW OUT THE SLOTS THAT THEY PLUG INTO.ALSO BLOW OUT THE HEAT SINK.SEE VIDEO Basically if there is anything to be unplugged in your machince do so and then plug it back in making sure that it is firmly seated.Make sure that you only clean your machine with compressed air not a vaccum or air compressor

Also if you can get into safemode with a command prompt then type the following CHKDSK /R then hit enter.

Ok if you can download the Prework tools with another computer and transfer them using a Flash Drive you may be able to complete the process. Also try the suggestions put forward by Malnutrition.

So is everything working fine in safemode? If so then reboot and go into safemode with networking and then complete the prework.
If you are unable to get into safemode with networking for some odd reason while yu have your machine in safemode then hit the start button and in the run box type msconfig and under the startup tab uncheck everything then under the services tab put a checkmark next to hide microsoft services then uncheck all services remaining after hiding microsoft services. Now close msconfig and try and boot back to normal mode to complete the prework.
