Adobe announced yet another critical vulnerability that affects the most recent 9.3.4 versions of Reader and Acrobat, along with earlier versions.No workarounds have been posted yet.

No wonder, another zero day exploit for adobe reader.Unlike other PDF readers (Foxit, Nitro PDF) ,looks like adobe has got a tag on it~ come, exploit me and test your hacking skills

But nevertheless, with the advent of their new sandboxing technology known as Protected Mode, their upcoming versions are considered to be much safer.Even if an exploitable vulnerability is found by an attacker, it will not allow the attacker to gain control of the exploited machine on account of its confined environment which we call as Protected Mode.

If you try the Foxit Reader, be careful it now installs the Ask Toolbar. It gives you the option not to though...

you shouldn't use this anyway.. and if you do, sandbox it.
