Samsung has started the process of updating its Galaxy S2 smartphones with the latest version of Android.

Korean S2 owners as well as those in Poland, Hungary and Sweden will start to get the update from 13 March.

@ darkeevee - The "ICS" update for S2 is just Gingerbread with TouchWiz Android 4.0 sticker on it. If you want proper ICS, you can flash CyanogenMod9 over at XDA (assuming your phone is rooted with CWM)

Is your phone an S2 though? the T-Mobile/Verizon doesn't matter, it will still be vulnerable to the root exploit I used for mine.

    [edit]

Apparently the exploit was fixed in Android 2.3.6 - new root guide using ODIN.
