Hey guys, I have a problem with my laptop's processor.
it will only run at 11% of what it can.
This means 100% cpu all the time.
Are there any way I can make it use more of itself?
No, I have checked the power plan. it should allow the CPU to run 100% if what it can.

By the way, i got the info from the built in performance monitor.
I am not going to overlock, due to my lack off hardware knowledge.

Anything that helps(even just a little bit) will be appriciated. :D

    Welcome back.

What tool are you using, that tells you this?
Can you post a screenshot of the information?

I am using the windows built-in performance monitor.
You can find it under administrative tools.

    Screenshot as attached file.

What makes you think that your CPU can't go above 11%? That chart shows that it hasn't needed to go over 11%. Run a game or something processor hungry and see that figure go up. As for the 100% figure, are you sure that's not the "System Idle" process?

Sorry for late reply( i've been sick)

I decided to open the laptop and see if the prosessor was broken or damaged. I began smelling a horrible mix if burnt plastic. It was completely black. it had a "crater" of black burnt motherboard around it.

Well so I think the thing is that the processor is all fried up.
