What to DO now... I cant play games on it.... Please give me all possible solutions as my father comes at late night , so i have to try all ssteps at night only. HELP ASAP
Hey If you look at the bottom on your laptop, there should be the end of the model number on there. Try this site: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...Id=135&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=4113092 1) Pick the correct model number from the list, 2) Then the correct operation system and bit number 3) Click on "Driver - Audio" and download it from there. Should be something like realtek high definition (It's a very common audio driver for any machine.)
Below the laptop there are no sticker , I will try to find model no. ASAP Tell me more ways as i think SYSTEM isnt allowing me to install DRIVERS......
Try right clicking on my computer, the properties. Should be there. Not too sure, might just be the site you are using or maybe it's not up to date. Try this: -Open Start menu, open control panel -Scroll down to 'Device Manager', click 'View Hardware and Devices' -Double click 'Sound, video and game controllers', then double click 'Realtek High Definition Audio' -This will open the properties menu for your audio. At the top of the box, click 'driver' -Finally, click the 'Disable' button, and then the 'Enable' button afterward to reset your audio system.
Alright, I was only suggesting the basic things first before going into higher detail. I'll keep searching around. See if someone with a bit more knowledge can assist you

hey swap.blue. I am guessing the problem is still in going, right? Well, have you tried to uninstall the Device Driver for Audio from the Device Manager and then clicking on the Scan for Hardware Changes icon the top to let the system scan for changes made. PS: -> When you uninstall, restart the PC once. -> Do you see a Yellow Question Mark besides the Audio Device Driver? => Try this as well: Right click the name of the Sound card and then click properties. Click the General Tab and look in the Device Status box to identify problems with the sound card. If there are any Error Codes please post them back Check out this link as well: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/no-sound-in-windows
I havnt tried uninstalling it as there was no option to that maybe There was a reinstall option bt i got hardware not installed err nd yeah there was a yellow marker ... Would b great if u would b online after 4 hrs ....
Try using Driver Sweeper to completely remove the traces for previous drivers and then install the driver downloaded from HP Can you let me know the name of the Manufacturer for the Audio Driver online after 4 hours? for...??
Hi. Please Click on the SpecInfo link in my Signature and install/run the application. It should show you various stuff, including for the Audio .. If that doesn't work. Download Unknown Device Identifier and run it after installation http://www.zhangduo.com/udi.html
