The program runs on Windows 2000, XP and Vista (32 or 64 bit).
As you can see from the name, the soft is developed for partitioning. And this is what Paragon really can do I think. It can create, expand, resize, merge, delete, undelete, copy, hide, unhide, rename and defrag partitions.
Everything is easy.
The distributive contains recovery CD image (that is why filesize is more 100 MB) - nice to have.
Limitations in this download (against the full Professional 10th version):
No support for Windows 7 and no WinPE included.

If you check closely enough, they DO offer a free edition of the program. Their download page is very similar to the one used by AVG AV, and both can be confusing.

If you read the page at the original link, you will see that there is a chart comparing different editions just like AVG does. There is a small print link on that page that points to the link I've provided. This is a free version that has been stripped of some of the retail features.

That does not compare to this and that's why it's free.

I didn't say the free edition would compare favorably to this version. I just stated that there was a free edition available, just as the original poster did. He may have thought that it would be a full featured application.

I have it installed and waiting to be used when I want.

I just merged 2 partitions on my 500GB Maxtor external in about 5 minutes without issue.

Good stuff and the GUI is a lot more friendlier than Easeus Partition Manager.
