Certainly sounds interesting. Would be interesting to have a go with one. @darkeevee: I don't think they will cost that much. Considering they are download only and most will probably be made by indie developers and small game companies.
Looks like you didn't quite make it thru Monday did you Crush? Never fear. I know a couple of weeks rest and a nice little rubber room will fix you right up?
Updates on the Ouya - http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-57481285-1/ouya-game-console-adds-onlive-outs-controller/ OOOOOOUYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
The makers of the Ouya have made several announcements in regard to functionality lately. The latest being today about XBMC - http://www.slashgear.com/ouya-promises-xbmc-support-07241986/
I'm not so confident they will be able to compete that well with the current console market. It seems to me like interest might spike for a semester or so, then it will fade away.
Last update was on 9/14 which went into detail about the games and such. We'll see what happens I guess. It's slated for a 2013 release
Initial release will be simple enough like any new product. If one of the big companies doesn't buy them off or they don't get greedy they may last the first 18 months.
