    i bought a new LEDmonitor for replacement of my old and busted CRT monitor.. however, the right edges are cut off. the scrollbar for example is only shown 3/4 and the other pixels are cut off. my old CRT doesnt have this problem.
    i tried to auto-adjustment, use native res which is 1366*768 but no luck. win XP and win 7 both show this problem.

    on your computer image, is the background dark. Sometimes auto size wont work with dark backgrounds. Put up the Google homepage which is bright and try it.

    Also what input connection's does the monitor have. DO you have only the blue VGA connector. Or do you also have the white DVI-D connector. If you have the latter white connector I suggest using that. It is far superior and will be pixel perfect.

    Reset the monitor back to factory default and then change your resolution in Windows to 1280 x 1024 and tell us how that looks.

    @hardlock
    did what you said but auto didnt fixed it
    my monitor has VGA and DVI. i am currently using the VGA one because the monitor comes with that connector and no DVI was given. (im planning to buy one, but im not sure if there is great difference in quality)

    @Wolfeymole
    i tried setting it to 1280*1024 and the cut edges disappeared, i can now see it fully, but because my native res is 1366*768, it is distorted

    Where do you find the aspect of 1366 x 768 as this is not a logical setting?

    So what happens when you set the monitor to 1280 x 1024 and the resolution on your PC to 1280 x 1024?

    There is a huge quality leap over VGA when using DVI. VGA is an analogue signal that needs to be processed, so some quality is lost. When using DVI it's pure digital, so you get a perfect 1:1 pixel ratio. Far more sharper and small detail tend to pop a little more.

    I think it is just an odd issue with VGA being upset. I'm sure with a DVI cable all of this mess will be sorted out.

    Buy the way the resolution of 1366*768 is a standard 16:9 resolution. All HD Ready tvs use this.
