Is it worth the money to just get cyberpowerpc.com to build it or should I try to take a stab at this? also how much would I save if I did this myself? Hello Jaytherippa.. It's all according to your skill set, when it comes to building a gaming PC.. Just a note here some here may tell you, that you could build 3 or 4 gaming PC's with $6000.00 I am going to open your thread for more input on this..
If you would be willing to compromise the fancy stuff i could build a computer with a better motherboard, better hard drives and ssd drives, faster graphics cards, and more ram. What say you to that?
Without even doing a price check, you could easily save 1000 doing it yourself...However, that's assuming you have knowledge of setting up a water cooled system. If you don't know how to do it, the 6000 might be worth it just to save yourself the hassle, or find someone who does know how (and probably set up a better loop than theirs) at even then a still reduced cost then that...
I could help you with the liquid cooling segment if you would like, however I would first like you to look this over. http://pchelpforum.com/xf/threads/liquid-cooling-tutorial.125688/ "I" would say, A gpu better then a 680?
690 lol http://blogs.nvidia.com/2012/04/meet-geforce-gtx-690-the-ultimate-graphics-card/ http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/article-keynote/ also the 590 is still slightly faster than the 680 but the 690 blows the 590 out of the water
