My first laptop

    Want to buy my first laptop. The 2 runner ups are the Toshiba Satellite A8-3520M with a AMD Radeon HD 6620g video card. The other is the Toshiba Satellite L750-12M with a NVIDIA GeForce 4500HD video card. The games that I will be playing would be The SIMS3, Civilization 4 and Auran Trainz Simulator 2004 on Windows 7

    For the money i would personally go with Toshiba Satellite A8-3520M ...It got good reviews and all around more laptop...

    Bought my Toshiba Satellite A8-3520M laptop with preinstalled Windows 7. Just need to chose the language for it. I was wandering since Toshiba's laptops doesn't come with any installation cd, Windows 7, video card cd..., if I decide to format the hard drive will it returne to the default setting like Playstation 3?

    All laptops should come with a way of creating cds or with a recovery partition

    I'll have to make a copy of the hard drive on a dvd in case there's a problem in restoring my laptop.

    If you going to do that use something like acronis and create a rescue cd. But you should have a key and some form of restoring a new laptop

    Where did you find the toshiba Toshiba Satellite L750-12M with a NVIDIA GeForce 4500HD video card. The one i found had an intel graphics card
