I'm running an i5 2500k at 4.5GHz with just the multiplier upped no voltage or other mods etc
I'm seeing temps in the mid 60s on all 4 cores under heavy load for several hours at a time most of the day/night.
I'm running 3D CFD for a project. a quick google tells me people are seeing this temperature under heavy load

however I'm running uprated cooling and am concerned somethings wrong

Ambient temps are in the mid 20s in my house the pc is on a desk away from sources of heatI' have got pretty good cable management as well with every thing but the sata cables tucked though the back plate.

    I'm running:
    Titan Skaali
    Antec 902 fans set low
    4x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600
    Cooler Master Silent proM 600W
a couple of HDD's an SDD and a HD4670 with an uprated arctic cooler

    thoughts / suggestions

If you are doing loads of rendering then that temp seems normal for that much load maybe you should consider water cooling

My old i7 used to go through the same calculations as this at similar temps on this cooler but that was stock speed. I'm not into the danger zone for temps though am I? surely that must be in the 80s

Is this from intel? Do you have a link? I'm wondering if that's max continous or max peak temp as if it'll run all day long at 72.6 then I've nothing to worry about, thanls btw

AT 4.5 GHz,60-70 is good, even when run 24/7 it shouldn't be a problem.
