Hi all, First time poster looking to get some help, ive looked at previous similiar threads about this issue. So it's either overheating or a psu issue. Theres HWINFO Log, and GPU-Z Log attached. Some help with figuring out which it is would be great, hopefully its the PSU rather then card if something has to be shot. EDIT: I dont have a multimeter so no for sure way to figure out which it is. Thanks, Nate.
Welcome to PCHF, GPU temps don't seem to be a problem and the load doesn't even cross ~50%. Please download the latest version of CPU-Z from here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_cpuz/ Open up CPU-Z. Click on the 'About' tab. Under tools section, click on 'Save Report (.TXT)'. This will save a text file on your machine. Upload the text file in your next post.
Voltages and CPU temps are fine too. What is your power supply rating/make/model? And how old is it? Disable XMP profile for the RAM in the BIOS.
Corsair HX1000W purchased jan 08 2010, so 2 years and some months. 1000w, 2 12volt rails. +3.3V@30A, +5V30A, +12V1@40A, +12V2@40A, -12V@0.8A, +5VSB@3.5A
Also after the monitor lost signal crash, and i reset my computer one long beep and 3 short beeps follow, I have an American Megatrends bios. Another reset and then the comp boots normally. if that helps figure out whats wrongs
1 long and 3 short indicate memory test failure. Run memtest86+: http://www.pchelpforum.com/memory/113776-memtest86-how.html
been running memtest for 9hrs and 7pass no errors gonna go for full 24 hr just incase. if it isnt memory any other ideas?
i did notice i turned off my computer like, unplug powercord, flip switch everything for a couple hours for a full cleaning its the first time its been completely no power running normally its stays plugged in and on just shutdown from os every night. once i hooked everything backup after a couple hours the time and date of the bios was completely off like 2002. sign of cmos battery dying?
Nope no bios updates available, date doesn't reset. Swapped out my video card for gtx 560 and issue stopped..so im guessing it was the card? have lifetime warranty from EVGA So RMA'ing it.
