I have a dell inspirion...I am not sure exactly which one but I bought it new about 4 years ago. My local internet went out one night and I called the local cable company. They turned it back on and I was able to log on. I then decided I wanted to delete games and other things on my computer that I no longer have time for. After I done that I tried to go to google and it wont go. I do remember deleting something that said netwaiting. My router is a net gear router. I have had the cable company at the house and they replaced everything and my husbands laptop will connect just fine. So I assume I deleted something. Since I got my computer a screen pops up dell wlan utility not correctly working so the cable man thinks my wireless card is torn up but I have gotten that message before and its always worked. My computer does notice my router but all it will do is limited connectivity or local only. I have tried connecting thru the modem to my computer using my ethernet cable but it wont do anything different. Any suggestions. How can I download anything if I cant even get it online. Does it sound like my wireless card has stopped working, but again it does recognize the modem...HELP
