So on my laptop where the screen plugs in one of the pins is bent. When i turn it on it stays on for a minute or 2 then turns off, that may because the hard drive may not be inserted or something. So ill put it back in. Is there any way to run of the VGA or S-Video? I usualy dont fell this stupid lol

The fact that the laptop is turning off so quickly is a concern. Have you tried running it with power only, no battery inserted (and vice versa)?

Are you talking about a cable from an external monitor that has a bent pin? what pin exactly? Whatever you do dont attempt to plug in anything with a bent pin.
