    Hi there!

I would really appreciate some help from you guys. I am in the middle of an important music production and motion graphics project, and I think my motherboard starts to fail. I have listed some info below. By valuating that, do you think it is my motherboards or something else? And what can I do to fix it?

Here are some symptoms of failure

    Mouse lags - Razer Lanchesis

Computer freezes - suddently or after a period of mouse lag or crackling/distorted/chopped audio

Bluescreen - Irql not less or equal

    STOP: 0x0000000A (0xFFFFF8800F2CEFF8, 0X0000000000000002, 0X0000000000000001, 0XFFFFF800032321AE)

Keyboard flickering LEDs - Logitech G11

Adobe flash player crashes - Even after reinstaling the newest version

Several programs and software freezes - Often to resume functioning as normal after 10sec to 10 min

Distorted, cracking and "chopped" audio - Only happens now and then

    Computer specs

    OS
    - Windows 7 64-bit

    Motherboard
    - Asus P6T7 WS Supercomputer

    RAM - DDR3 SDRAM 2GBx6 (12GB all together)

Graphicscard - nVIDIA GeForce GTX 295

Audio Interface (external) - Focusrite Saffire Pro 40

    CPU - QuadCore Intel Core i7-975 Extreme Edition, 3475 MHz (26 x 134)

BIOS version - American Megatrends Inc. (0406)

I see that you have mentioned Blue Screens. Please follow the instruction found in the BLUE BSOD link below and post back a couple of your most recent DMP files for our Blue Screen Analysts to review.

    Hello.

That archive does not contain any memory dumps. You need to pay extra attention to this bit here
    http://www.pchelpforum.com/blue-scr...en-death-how-post-your-blue-screen-death.html
    [IMG]
Small memory dump needs to be set.

Also, it may be possible your paging file needs resetting. Go to control panel > system > advanced system settings (list on the top left) > performance settings button > advanced tab > virtual memory change button.

Uncheck "automatically manage paging file size for all drives" and on the list choose every drive/partition you have a paging file installed on. Select "no paging file" and press set after each selection. Confirm with OK and reboot.

Once back in windows, go back to this window, check "automatically manage paging file size for all drives" and click OK. Reboot once again.

Additionally, I'd like you to download this tool http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?866c9s88h7u8a1c and save it to the desktop. Run it as admin and attach the produced archive. If the archive size is over 1MB, upload it here www.speedyshare.com

Thanks for helping out. I have done what you said now, and also attached the new file from the new program I downloaded.

I use cleaner software regulary, may that be the reason the file I sendt you didn't contain any memory dumps?

If you use ccleaner, on default settings it does clear the memory dumps. You can uncheck the setting for future reference.
We'll have to wait for more crashes to occur, wait for at least two or three before rerunning the tool.

I understand, I thought you had to do it for you to recieve a notification of a new post :)

Crashes occur about 25% of the times I use my computer. The mouse lags occur every time I use the computer, but usualy it takes some time before the lagging starts

Maybe it is the mouse then, I have al the newest drivers though.

As long as I'm watching the thread, the notifications are going to be sent.

We can force some crashes with the driver verifier, however the best method is to let them occur on their own. Verifier can provoke some issues that are not really issues.

Okay, the problem is that I very seldom get a bluescreen. Only happened 3 times the last 4 months. Instead the PC totaly freezes and I have to turn it off manually. I cant wait a couple of months to have the issue fixed....

I'll tell you what I can from the logs available.

Your Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 (ST31000524AS) drive seems to be experiencing problems. There were some read errors and reallocated sectors.

Your Corsair CMFSSD-128D1 drive may need a firmware update http://forum.corsair.com/v3/forumdisplay.php?f=206
I'd offer more information, but I can't understand the layout of corsair's support site.

The motherboard BIOS is dated 09/18/2009. The mobo may use a BIOS update.
    BIOS file here http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket1366/P6T7_WS_SC/BIOS/P6T7-WS-SC-ASUS-1001.zip
    Manual here http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket1366/P6T7_WS_SC/Manual/e4606_P6T7_WS_SC.zip
However, the BIOS flashing procedure should be followed carefully, as it can brick the motherboard and it should be done only when other venues are exhausted.
If you do decide to flash the BIOS, remember to load safe default settings in the bios setup before and after flashing.

To test memory effectively, you should remove all 6 memory modules and make sure the memory slots are clean. Then insert module 1 into slot 1 and use the PC, see if that eliminates the symptoms. Afterward remove the module 1 and insert module 2 into slot 1. Rinse and repeat with other modules.

No matter how you handle this, it's probably going to take a few weeks until you manage to reach any conclusions.

Any advice on troubleshooting the Seagate Baracuda?

Do you think this one is correct for the Corsair drive? http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=100449

I have very little knowledge with BIOS, but it sounds like a good thing to upgrade it then. What do you mean by "brick the motherboard"?

Do you think it may be an issue with one of the RAM sticks?

Sorry for a lot of questions, and thanks again for helping me
