Sorry if this is in the wrong section! Recently I came across by accident something called ISDEL.EXE.With some google search comments have been remove this from your system as it could be a virus?????Is the latter true and if so what do I have to do to remove it.I have also seen this isdel exe in the task manager process list.Is this something that as to be in task manager or have you to end it's process????
Reason why this came to light is because I was trying to install an old pc game and when the installshield wizard starts it only goes to 99% and then hangs and goes back to desktop,so no install is possible.All other games I have installed through the wizard have been ok.So any help and advice on that too would be great.
By way I run Vista os 32bit laptop.

Ok I went to the pre work section and followed the instructions.Downloaded the OTL&MBR stuff but then something weird happened!
I started the OTL scan and that was ok but when I started the MBR my internet security (Kaspersky) came up with a warning-P.D.M logger and asked me to disenfect(recommended).So I stopped the OTL(for now) and followed what Kaspersky said.My pc rebooted with Kaspersky and for some reason my desktop was full of weird desktop ini icons and inside my C&D drives where unkown empty folders.In other words everything was messed up.
So I decided to reboot hit F8 into safe mode and do a system restore-windows updates and scans.All is back up ok but any ideas what happened would be great.Would still like to find out about the isdel exe but now a bit nervous regarding the pre-work!
By the way in my Kaspersky I have done a full scan and no threats.Done a critical areas scan and no threats but in the Vulnerability scan it's saying about 9 threats and is still running at this moment in time.
Anyway any help would be great!
