Just to let you know that since my last update for IE8 it has gone fully 64bit which means until Adobe write a new version, that even the latest edition of Flash Player will not work with IE8 64bit, the alternative is to download a 32 bit browser for the moment until Adobe write a solution.

The other way to get around this is to unpin the 64bit Internet Explorer 8 from your taskbar. Go to C:Windows/Program files(x86) and go into Internet Explorer 8 and pin the IE8.exe file to taskbar, this will restore your 32bit version.

Not sure why this information needs to be bumped.

Anyway, it helped me seeing it, and then finding the Adobe information link (basically the same as Cobra3164 stated): Flash Player support on 64-bit operating systems

    Hope this helps others.
