    Industry insiders report that Intel will discontinue production on its sandy bridge line sometime this fall. This move is due to the release (and apparent market acceptance) of its new ivey bridge line

    With Intel releasing its new dual-core Ivy Bridge processors, the company's Sandy Bridge processors are expected to gradually be phased out of the market starting in September, according to sources from notebook players.
