    Hey.
Recently my GPU broke down, so I ended up buying a new one. My problem/question is this:
I can't access the computer without installing the new GPU, So I don't have any chance of removing the old drivers for the old GPU before installing the new one. According to what I've read around this can cause issues like overvolting etc.
How can I safly access my computer without risking my new GPU?

As you might understand from this question, I'm rather a novice when it comes to these kinds of computer issues etc.

Additional infomation that might be relevant:
Name of old GPU: XFX GeForce 9800GX2 680M 1GB
Name of new GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 470 1280MB
    Motherboard: Asus P5E, LGA775 Socket.

(I've searched around the forum for this, Though I might have missed it. If this problem has been solved for someone else already please give a link:) )

No problem, boot into safe mode (F8), your graphic card driver wont be loaded, you then can remove the old one and install the new driver following these instructions

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.
