Hi. I really hope somene may be able to help me. I have come so far with this project I can see light at the end of the tunnel :). Just one more crease to iron out I think. Right.....

I made a bootable USB flash storage device using PEtoUSB.

I sed the following guide: Install Windows XP using USB Flash Disk/ Flash Drive - Step by Step Guide

I slipstreamed my IDE/SATA driver after getting BSOD when the windows setup looked for the hard disc.

After this I managed to get to the setup screen within the windows setup and delete a partition and cop over the installation files to the hard drive.

All seemed good and the PC restarted itself to contine the setup. Then I got this error:

So I tried again from the beginning.

Now every time I get to the point where the setup copies the installation files to the hard drive or If I try and do a format of the partition etc I get stop codes half way through the yellow progress bar:

Anyone have any idea what this might be?

    Cheers.

    Hello,

It seems like the most likely cause for all this is a bad hard drive. Try testing it with the DOS version of SeaTools.

You can also try creating an installer key without the slipstreamed drivers, see if that helps.
