    hi my com has 4gb ram useable 3gb how do i free up some ram, when i turn it on it it seems to use lots and slows down also when im not doing anything on the com it still uses lots.

    What OS are you running? If it's 32bit Windows, you'll not be able to use the full 4gb.

    im running win 7 32bit , i was just wondering cause i dont really do alot on com but the ram seems to be using alot so is there anyway i can free up some ram that i have got , thanx for the fast reply.

    It depends on whether you have onboard devices that use up the RAM. What is the make and model of your machine?

    Looks like you have both onboard sound and graphics, so I doubt you could squeeze much more memory out of it.
