no worries, so what was the cause?
Sorry if i mislead you, I meant last time i had a bsod i found out what was causing it. I used verifier to check drivers and such. I will post on this thread tomorrow about memtest 86 run tonight
Ran memtest overnight and reported back 0 errors
Alright, let's wait for any more BSODs, upload the dumps as they occur.
Ok sounds good to me, I have a feeling though it might not do it again or it won't do it for awhile. Make sure you're buckled in for a long ride
Update the thread after a week, or if BSODs occur.
BSOD while away
I went to work with computer on, came back to a dialog box that said "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown"
Here is the log
Re: BSOD while away
Is this related to the following thread KB?
If so, would you like to merge them? If not, please can you update it, or let me know what you would like to do with that thread.
Re: BSOD while away

Memory Management error in the latest dump,
And download HD Tune from here: HD Tune - Geeks to Go Forums
In its error scan tab, make sure quick scan is unchecked and then scan your drive.
Make sure your windows installation is up to date with the latest service pack and extra updates.
I've already ran memtest per your request Kedar.
Nothing came up when running for 7 passes.
I will download HDtune and run it tonight once i get back from work.
Is there a log that I should post from the HDtune?
Ok, ran it and nothing is wrong. There wasn't even a .01% of damaged blocks. Everything checks out just fine.
Anything else I should try?
If the BSOD occurs again, upload the dumps.
Hi KB, do you still require any assistance? any update on this thread would be great, or let us know if the problem has been solved so that we can mark the thread accordingly.
