Hello! I have been trying to access a website (http://www.maple.extalia.net), but I can't seem to access. I KNOW for a fact that it works, but I cannot access it myself. I have been googling answers, but I have not come across any that have worked. This is what I have tried so far: - Resetting the modem - Making a static IP - Resetting my "hosts" file - Lowering my MTU in my router settings - Restarting my computer - Trying the website on other computers connected to the network - Using a proxy to connect to the website (worked) - Disable my anti-virus and anti-malware programs - Flushing my DNS cache - Using alternative browser (IE) - Using an OpenDNS This is a list of what I have tried so far, but no luck. I have a feeling it's something to do with the DNS of my modem, but I am not 100% sure. Do not give me useless answers, please. I am running Windows XP SP2 and my browser is Mozilla Firefox 8.0.1. Any help is appreciated, but do not suggest any of the things that are typed above. Thanks.
Are you by any chance running MalwareBytes? If so, try turning off the website blocking and then flushing your dns (open cmd.exe and type in ipconfig /flushdns) and then try to visit the site.
I am indeed running MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, but even after disabling website blocking and flushing my DNS cache, I still can't access this dang website. >_<' EDIT: Oops, I unticked the wrong Website Blocking. It worked!! Thank you soo much. I feel so stupid. ): THANKS AGAIN! ^^
Samuria: I also was not able to access the link the OP posted, but if you take out the WWW prefix, it appears to access the correct website.
