i just recently discovered that deleting all saved cookies, form data, and passwords in internet options, does not delete all saved passwords for all email accounts.

i've been building some cheap pc's for my family members, and have been using all of my personal accounts on the pc's while i was setting them up / checking them out, before giving them away.

i thought that deleting everything possible in the internet options was deleting all of my personal information.

when i go to user accounts, and check, manage my network passwords, there is nothing there. but when i open the SIW / system info for windows program, and select passwords, there are all of my saved passwords for all to see.

how do i remove this information from these pc's ??

it's my hotmail, outlook, and windstream email accounts.

i've not been able to find the answer from my google searches ??

Hi Ron, Not sure how to remove the passwords individually by application but it may work if you create a new admin user, log in as that new user then delete the user that was used when everything was setup.

this article is quite interesting link (scroll down to sidebar 2)
it's funny .. the article states it is important to know where passwords are stored and then goes on to omit the location where Outlook stores passwords #?
    prob %systemroot%\Documents and Settings\Username\Outlook_

thanks 12moon, for the information you provided !!

after reading the information from your link, i no longer feel very safe using any of my personal information over the internet. that was an eye opener for sure !!

ZeroByte, your suggestion about changing accounts, appears to have deleted all of my passwords as you predicted !! another lesson learned !!

now i will change my passwords, and be sure to always delete any accounts that i have used any of my personal information on.

    thanks everyone !!
