    Hi guys,
This morning every 'sent' email that is older than Jan 24 2011 suddenly vanished.
I am using Windows Live Mail and Windows 7.
In looking at the 'help' area it appears that I'm not the only one that this has happened to as there are many sub topics on the subject.
In then searching through help, there is no solution offered.
Can anyone help me get my e-mails back please?

Thanks. I have been away 'up bush' awhile.

Terry, there is no options in my Windows live mail. The word tools is printed at the top but it is permanently greyed out and can't be accessed.

    Is there a fix?

    Eek! No options sux....

I'll keep searching. I don't use Live Mail so I'm not familar with it.

Did you have a nice time while "up bush"?

    HS,

Is this what the toolbar looks like for LiveMail now? I don't even see a Tools option.

    Yes thanks I did.
The reason I am using Windows live mail instead of Outlook Express which I so much prefer is that when I changed over from Win XP [also prefer] to Win 7 I was forced to use the inferior Windows product.
I believe that if I have the latest M/S Word it allows me to use O/E.
    This I don't have.

Yes, I'm sure you could use Outlook 2010 for this, but that's an expensive answer. Gotta love MS.....

So is that the Live tool bar? 2 posts up :)

    HS,

I'm not going to waste your time since I don't know the app. I'll get this marked as OPEN to those using LIVE mail with Windows 7.

Best of luck in finding a resolution!
