How can I make uTorrent faster?

    Hello there!

    I understand that the download speed I get with uTorrent depends on a number of things: Time of day, P2P throttling by my ISP, number of seeders on a given file etc. but someone told me the other day that I can reconfigure the settings to increase my download speed, which at the moment, is pretty poor. It shoots up at about midnight, but during the day it's rather slow.

    I'm using the most current version of uTorrent (3.1.3) and my current settings are default.

    Can anyone shed any light on this? I did Google it, but got mixed results.
