Also, Sorry if this was posting in the wrong area. I looked but was unable to find any thread titles related to PC Building.
Hey SneakyAo1 What are you going to use this PC for? Whats your budget? From what I see, everything is compatible. Might be we could suggest you a better build for your needs.
My price range is $420 tops. I have a foxconn 1GB gfx and a nvidia 9600GT so I don't need a gfx card, but maybe a mobo with 2 pciex16 with hybrid sli. I would be using this rig for small stuff like watching dvd's, playing games from 2010 and older, adobe photshop, some flash projects, php/ mysql editing. Small stuff. Tho it really is being built for a new game coming out called "Delta Force Angel Falls". The games specs are Windows XP, Vista 2.6Ghz P4 CPU 1 GB of RAM (2GB Recommended) DVD-ROM drive 5GB Free Hard Drive Space Pixel Shader 3.0 or better video card (ATI 1900+, NVidia 7900+ or better recommended) DirectX 9.0c or higher ---------- If your able to help me find better products for a better build at my $420 budget please feel free to give me suggestions.
Mobo http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Socket-A...HV56/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1325552265&sr=8-3 CPU Amazon.com: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor (HDT55TFBGRBOX): Electronics RAM Amazon.com: Corsair XMS3 8 GB (2 x 4GB) 1333 MHz PC3-10666 240-Pin DDR3 Memory Kit CMX8GX3M2A1333C9: Electronics PSU http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-500-W...T2U6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1325552326&sr=8-3 I know its from amazon but it's alot cheaper and all this will work i recommend a 500gb hdd
Full tower case with screw slots for micro and full ATX boards. Ended up going Micro I ended up going with everything I posted in the OP cept the mobo. The PSU is the same price as yours but +100watts. comes with a 8 pin, two 4 pins, two 6pins, 6 legacy connects, 6 sata connects. Ended up getting ASUS M4A88T-M Motherboard - AMD 880GX, Socket AM3, mATX, DDR3, RAID, SATA, VGA, DVI, HDMI at TigerDirect.com for the motherboard. All in all $402. I am very happy with this build. I have a 7.4 rating across the board using onboard gpu + my foxcon 1gb. Also, I got a discount for proving tigerdirect wrong on how they listed their mobo as only accepting 1066mhz DDr3 ram.. It accepts one above 1666mhz OC. Otherwise the price would have been 420. Price is $402, without doing the rebates. with the 2 rebates it comes to $380.
If you are going to use it for gaming, then its a bit pointless buying a 6 core processors, since games will only use 4 cores out of the 6.
Tiger is going to eat you alive in shipping costs. They will charge you shipping individually on each part and then ship them all to you in as few boxes as possible. sometimes I think thats how they make up for low list prices
Agreed. Just to give you an idea mate, pull up TigerDirect.com - Computers, Computer Parts, Computer Components, Netbooks & Electronics, and Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!, and then pick the exact same components (or near if one/more of them aren't available), and then do a shipping estimate. All the money you save on the price of the "lower" parts at tigerdirect, unless you manage to pick EVERYTHING with free shipping, will more then likely be higher then the price you pay at newegg.. I did the above when I ordered my parts from newegg vs tigerdirect, and going with newegg saved nearly 100 dollars off of my order.
