HDMI laptop to TV sometimes work

    Hi,

    I tried to connect my laptop to TV through through the HDMI cable. I am using Windows 7 on a Fujitsu Lifebook laptop and through the "Control Panel" --> "Display" --> "Screen Resolution", I change the multiple display to Extended display and used the Fn F10 which is the toggle between the different screen. However, sometimes I manage to make the laptop desktop display on the TV. However, most of the time it does not work.



    Hence the setup has worked before, I reckon that it could not be the problem of the cable TV and the laptop but rather the settings. Anyone could give me any tips or advice on how to make the setup work more permanently?

    Go to Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and in the Playback tab make sure HDMI icon is enabled.

    I have already done that. However, my problem is with the image and not with the sound. Anything I could try?
