I had a modem ( SIEMENS gigaset SE568 ) how can i use BSNL broadband through it .
Hello babupallisseri and welcome to the PCHF...
I am going to open your thread to attract the attention of our Tech's who are versed in this area...
More information is needed please.
Do you have another modem currently connected to BSNL?
What operating system are you using? e.g. WinXP, Vista, 7.
Does BSNL provide connection details? This may be in the form of a Username and Password.
BSNL data one ZTE zxdsl 831 all
user name & password used
Okay then. We're ready to begin
With the 831 connected, click Start -> Run -> Type 'cmd' and press enter. Now type 'ipconfig /all' (without ' ')and press enter. Please post a screenshot (instructions in my sig) of this screen.
Can you log into the gigaset modem? The only settings I know you need set are PPPoE, Username and Password and possibly VPI/VCI (0/35).
Please post a screenshot (instructions in my sig) of this screen.
(this matter i don't know )
To post a screenshot please follow the instructions in THIS link.
How are you getting on? Has the advice given at PC Help Forum assisted you in remedying your issue?
An update would be appreciated.
