Hi! I've just built a new computer, I have a HD which is on 250GB. It's a Serial-ATA HD. My problem is: I need to install the Serial-ATA from a flopyy discette. I put the winXP cd in and enter SCSI RAID controllers to install the SATA Driver. The installation asks me to put in the SATA Driver Discette into the floppy drive A: I do this but nothing happens, I only get a message saying that I need to try again. The green light is flashing on the floppy drive so it is working. I think I have the right adjustments in BIOS and the cables are correct. Why won't it work HELP! n :banghead: :computer:

Hmmm...so you're saying that the floppy drive is recognized in the bios?

Also, you are pressing F6 when the Windows setup screen begins aren't you (to opt to load SCSI device drivers)?
