When one of my users is sending email in Outlook 2010 it is stuck in the Outbox
    Message in Outlook 2010 :
Task 'user@domain.com - Sending' reported error (0x80040115) : 'The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.'
It's happening to this specific user since she moved from XP - Outlook 2007 to Win7 - Outlook 2010.
We migrated to Exchange 365 recently.
The ipconfig /flushdns does not help
By default use cached Exchanged mode is checked. I uncheck this, exit Outlook. If I open outlook again it still can not send.
    Reboot does not help.

Sounds like an account problem to me but all settings are correct and she is able to go into webmail and send / receive emails. We use SERVERX.mailbox.outlook.com as server and all settings are done automatically by connecting to the 365 portal.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.
This error message occurs if there is a loss of network connectivity or your mail server is unavailable and Improper Account settings.

    1. What type of email account is configured in Outlook (Example: POP, IMAP and Exchange Etc).
    2. Were you able to send and receive emails before?
    3. What is the security software installed?
    4. What is the edition of outlook?

You need to check the user can see the server try tracert, ping map a drive etc to ensure they can get to it. Changing setting so you put in the ip for the server instead of the name may help

    1. Exchange
    2. Yes. The user moved recently from XP/ Office 2007 to Win7/ Office 2010.
    3. Microsoft Security Essentials
    4. 2010

I asked the user to check whether or not she is able to use the webmail.
    No reply on that yet.
